It is not true that work and play do not blend well together. The proof is I was able to blend and play the game smart. I learn a lot on my passion for cooking while playing a game? Impossible? Nope. I just did it folks!
When I was a child I used to play cooking games with my young pals. I used to play the role of a master cook and my friends playing minor roles in a family. I always took the lead role even in dramatizations. I usually watched cartoons showcasing a master cook and how he used his cooking power to transform bad guys into meek and passive persona ready to obey their new cook master. I enjoy the quip of being called a cook master by my circle of friends. Even at the age of maturity, my passion for cooking did not fade. I took culinary arts and am ready to try my hand to new experiences doing the work I love the most. I even play Cooking Games at home with my siblings and we really enjoy doing them.

Sony Corp unveiled on Tuesday a smaller, lighter PlayStation handled game device called the PSP Go, in a race to catch rival Nintendo in an intensely competitive mobile games arena.
Hours before, Nintendo said it sold more than 15 million units of its blockbuster “Wii Fit” fitness game, and plans an update — the Wii Fit Plus — later this year.
Have you seen Denver Funde, Bald Bull and Sonic on the Jump?. LEGO and pixilated video game characters are as delicious a combination as chocolate and peanut butter. The non-Salmonella peanut butter that is.
Among the list? A still-in-the-box retail Xbox 360, a Gears of War Zune and these, these magnificent LEGO creations. These amazing LEGO designs come from Cliff and company over at NetDevil who, between bouts of designing LEGO Universe, managed to find time to create 8-bit art for charity.
Here’s a break down of how Tristan and I turned a picture into a sizable piece of plastic art.
Getting Started
- Choose Your Character Carefully: You want to make sure whoever you’re transforming into a LEGO is going to use colors that not only exist in the LEGO universe, but that you either (preferably) own or can easily purchase.
LEGO are pretty damn expensive, so keep that in mind if you’re going the purchase route. Also remember that unless you have a LEGO story nearby, you’re going to be forced to buy kits or sets that have all kinds of colors you probably don’t need. We spent $50 on supplemental LEGO making this, which gave us about a third of the LEGO we needed.

Lots of kids love video games. In fact, they like them so much that they might hear something like this from mom or dad: “Enough! Unplug that thing and find something else to do!”
It can be good advice, even if you were just about to crash through to the next level. Why? Too much of anything is just too much. It’s true that some studies have shown certain video games can improve hand-eye coordination, problem-solving skills, and the mind’s ability to process information. But too much video game playing can cause health problems.
It’s hard to get enough active play and exercise if you’re always inside playing video games. And without enough exercise, kids can become overweight.
Really overdoing video games also could affect other important stuff, like friendships and how well a kid does in school. And it’s still unclear what effect violent and disturbing games have on a person’s brain.
But here’s the good news: Playing video games some of the time can be OK. Just aim for no more than 1 or 2 hours a day and choose quality games.
A good game will be the right one for how old you are. Games are rated like movies and your mom or dad can help figure out which ones you should use. If you can choose one that gets you up and moving, that’s even better.
You might challenge your mom, dad — or even your grandma — to swing the bat in a game of baseball or try out some fancy moves in one of the dancing games. Could your grandma be a dancing queen? Time to find out!
