When the news about the release of the movie version of the Japanese manga hit Dragon Ball Z came out, a lot of its fans were surprised. But the surprise was brought by another issue…Americans starring and even directing the movie version of the Japanese hit. This sure has created an issue regarding ownership and franchise between the United States and Japan.

This issue is not new however. America started with the series programs for kids such as Power Rangers and Ultraman.
